TAG Holdings climbed two places to #3 in Crain’s Rankings of Top Minority Suppliers in Southeast Michigan, based on 2007 revenues of $605 million.

TAG Continues to Climb Black Enterprise’s National List for Service/Industrial Companies
According to Black Enterprise 100’s Annual Report on the Nation’s Largest Black-Owned Businesses – Industrial/Service Companies, TAG is solidly within the Top 10 companies in the country. With 2007 Annual revenues of $605 million TAG is now ranked #6 on B. E.’s list, moving up from #12 in last year’s survey.
Black Enterprise has ranked the nation’s top black-owned businesses for 34 years. The publication develops rankings by gathering information from government agencies, professional organizations, industry associations, business information services, entrepreneurs, and corporations. Companies must be at least 51% black-owned and fully operational for the previous calendar year to qualify for inclusion on the BE 100 list.

In its first time making the Automotive News list of the Largest Suppliers to North America ranked by sales of original equipment parts in 2007, TAG is placed at #82, with $566 million of automotive revenue.

TAG Moves up 10 Places on Crain’s Private 200 List
With 2007 revenues aggressively growing to $605 million, TAG has been ranked #33 on Crain’s Private 200 List, moving up a full 10 places from last year’s ranking of #43. The strong revenue increase was due to continued robust organic growth by some of TAG's portfolio companies, as well as, the launching of a new TAG company, Gulf Shore Assemblies in 2007.

TAG Rises on Crain's List of Largest Black-Owned Business
TAG Holdings has moved up to #3 on the Crain's List: Largest Black-Owned Businesses. The list recognizes the 25 largest black-owned businesses in southeastern Michigan, based on 2007 revenues. TAG moved up one place this year, from #4, following only Bridgewater Interiors and Prestige Automotive.
