Corporate History

November 2001

TAG Holdings, LLC is established as a holding company.


January 2002

Vibration Control Technologies, LLC (VCT), a manufacturer of Torsional Vibration Dampers (TVDs), is launched as a joint venture between TAG Holdings and Freudenberg NOK. TAG Holdings is the majority owner. VCT was previously a Freudenberg NOK facility with a 13-year history of manufacturing TVDs.


March 2003

TAG Holdings acquires the sensor business unit of Dongsuh (Korea), a company that began operations in 1995. The business is renamed A & D Technologies, LLC.


December 2003

North American Assemblies, LLC is established as a provider of modular assembly and supply chain management services for all terrain vehicles.


December 2003

TAG acquires the ceramics business unit of Dongsuh, which has locations in China and Korea.


January 2005

Great Lakes Assembly, LLC, a modular assembly and supply chain management company is launched as a joint venture between TAG Holdings and Midwest Express Inc (MEI). TAG Holdings is the majority owner. MEI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda.


May 2007

Gulf Shore Assemblies, LLC, a modular assembly and supply chain management company is launched as a joint venture between TAG Holdings and Midwest Express Inc (MEI). TAG Holdings is the majority owner. MEI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda.


October 2008

Indiana Assemblies, LLC, a modular assembly and supply chain management company is launched as a joint venture between TAG Holdings and Midwest Express Inc (MEI). TAG Holdings is the majority owner. MEI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda. The company produces wheel assemblies and power steering hose assemblies.
